6-1: UD Almeria U19 'A' thumped Marbella FC to become leaders again

Goals galore at the Francisco Pomedio stadium with a fantastic brace from Rachad and goals from Valen, Juanjo, Torres and Varó. Just wow!

The UDA youth team U19 'A' have once again earned a victory in Group IV of the Division of Honor league to become pacesetters following Betis' loss on Matchday 20. The teenage Rojiblancos walked out onto the field after learning of the defeat suffered by the Verdiblancos. They did not give any chances to rivals who, despite their attempts, were not capable of creating any danger within the Indálicos' half of the pitch, who scored three first-half goals and three more in the second to make it 6-1. Just wow!

With 13 minutes on the clock, Valen opened the scoring 1-0. Shortly after, on minute 19, Juanjo fired the second home and a couple of minutes later, Rachad slammed in the third. The youthful Rojiblancos shocked rivals FC Marbella within barely 29 minutes to leave them with a mountain to climb.

From then on, UD Almería U19 'A' parked the bus and the Malaga-based side were going all out for a quick goal to stage the comeback easier. They would not be able to score in the first half, but they would be able to score in the second. In the 59th minute, the visitors' consolation goal came, which gave them hope to come back against the Indálicos. However, in the 66th minute, Torres was in charge of making sure that their dream turned into a nightmare by netting the fourth.

That goal weakened the rivals as they conceded the fifth courtesy of Varó and within 77 minutes, the sixth shattered their hopes courtesy of Rachad's fantastic second goal to his name.

With this victory, the UDA Academy youth side remain group leaders with 51 points, three more than main rivals Real Betis.
