De la Hoz: 'The first half of the season has been quite good, we're getting much better'

The UD Almería central midfielder positively valued their performances over the first 19 Matchdays but he also mentioned 'our unfinished business is to win away from home'

UD Almería central midfielder César De la Hoz spoke to the Club's official media in the press room of the Power Horse Stadium to give his assessment on the first 19 Matchdays: 'The first half of the season has been quite good, we're getting better, but we can't relax because our rivals aren't slacking off' stated one of the team captains.

De la Hoz stressed the enormous importance of 'going week by week, game by game and avoid speculating because every time we do it, in the end, it's never right,' he admitted.

UD Almería are being a very attacking team and the Cantabria native confirmed it: 'We're a goal-scoring team and the good thing is that there are many players who contribute to this. If there's any unfinished business for UD Almería, it's to win away from the Power Horse Stadium. The players from Almería have passed other tests with flying colors, but regarding the away games, they've expressed that 'we regret not having been able to win away from home in this first half of the campaign, we've been playing good games on a few outings though.'

Next game against Rayo Vallecano is going to be played soon and the 30-year-old player said: 'It's a good opportunity to get the three points away from home, it'd give us a lot of strength.'

César De la Hoz expects 'a beautiful game, with high intensity and end-to-end activity. It's a very complicated pitch to win, the teams that go there suffer a lot to win, but it's a stadium with history and I can't wait to play there.'
