Long week ahead for UD Almería before trip to Vallecas

The Rojiblancos have trained on the Anexo ground with latest recruit Diego Mariño taking in new surroundings.

After the weekend off, UD Almería returned to training this Monday focusing on Rayo Vallecano. A light session in which it was possible to see the great atmosphere in the Rojiblancos squad after managing to score 22 points in the first half of the season.

Head coach Rubi has conducted training with latest recruit Diego Mariño in the group for the first time this Monday; the goalkeeper, whose signing was announced last week as the second recruit in the January transfer window, trained with the rest of his team-mates at the Anexo ground next to the Power Horse Stadium.

Melero and Chumi were the only absentees in this first practice of the week who have worked out in the gym. Kaiky did not join the team, he has continuous running-based exercises. In addition, Mendes has also been absent since this Monday, he had permission from the Club to sort out some paperwork in France.

UD Almería have a long week ahead to prepare for the first reverse fixture in Vallecas. The team will have a full week to prepare for the clash against the Vallecanos with 6 training sessions planned. The only day off for the Rojiblancos will be Thursday.
