UD Almería 'B' face another 'B' teams clash in Group IX of the Tercera RFEF this Sunday, as they take on Recreativo de Granada on Matchday 7. The game kicks off at 12 noon at the Granada Council Sports Complex in Armilla, with the home side’s usual ground currently undergoing pitch renovation work.

Last weekend, UD Almería 'B' hosted Atlético Malagueño at the Anexo. This time, they face Granada CF’s second team, whom they meet again two seasons after their previous encounter, although that meeting came in the Segunda RFEF.

With the Melilla outfit setting the pace at the top of the table, several sides are battling to establish themselves in the play-off places. UD Almería 'B' are currently 3rd, while Recreativo de Granada are just outside the coveted positions. The youthful Indálicos hold a 3-point advantage over their opponents heading into what promises to be a demanding and closely-contested fixture.

The Granada youngsters have won all 3 of their home matches so far, while UD Almería 'B’s away record stands at one win on Matchday 1, a defeat on Matchday 3 and a draw on Matchday 5. Despite those results, the young Rojiblancos have shown encouraging signs on the road and will be looking to turn their performances into a greater reward this Sunday.
