UD Almeria U19 ‘A’ continue to climb 'Tour's Tourmalet' with an apt simile

The UDA Academy Juveniles welcome Granada U19 at 12 noon this Saturday before a trip to Huelva and rounding off the week with a challenging home game against current group leaders Real Betis U19.

UD Almería under-19s ‘A’ continue to climb ‘Tour's Tourmalet' in an apt simile and in this next stage, they will have to beat Granada U19 at 12 noon on Saturday at the Francisco Pomedio ground located in the town of Huércal de Almería.

The next opponents are a team that did not start the season on the right foot, but are now in great form since they have not been defeated since 18 December. Since then, they have racked up five victories and a draw, which has made the Nasrid side occupy the sixth position with 39 points, approaching the positions of Cádiz and Málaga. They will go into the game after thrashing bottom team Algeciras 4-0.

As for the U19 ‘A’ Rojiblancos, they were edged out by Malaga U19 (1-0) last week in a match that closed out a really demanding week for Alberto Lasarte's boys after the Spanish Cup U19 quarter-final tie played in Las Palmas when some players missed out due to the flu. This week, UD Almeria U19 ‘A’ have had enough time to prepare well for the match against Granada U19, but it is true that still have the key climb ahead in which, after taking on the Nasrid team, they have a daunting trip to Huelva to face the El Decano team of Spanish football and return to the Francisco Pomedio ground to play a vital match against current leaders Real Betis U19.
