Rubi: 'We believe that Barça can be beaten'

The gaffer hosts a press conference to preview the eagerly awaited game and assures: 'We're going to go all out to try it. I've got no doubt that UD Almería will be highly competitive.'

UD Almería head coach Rubi hosts a pre-Barça press conference to preview the eagerly awaited game and said that his team is now fully recovered from the last tough defeat suffered to Girona FC and that achieving a victory is possible, highlighting the role of their mentality: 'Each game is new, it starts from scratch and the ability that we have in overcoming defeats quickly allows us to have chances to win again.'
Joan Francesc Ferrer Sicilia 'Rubi' underlined: 'in the dressing room, we believe that Barça can be beaten,' and argued: 'We're going to go all out to try it. I've got no doubt that we're going to see a highly competitive UD Almería.'
The Rojiblancos' boss believes that the team's image, beyond earning points only, is absolutely essential: 'It's the way to get points. If you don't have a good image, you'll lose many more matches.' Rubi confesses 'in this particular meeting, on the one hand, we must have the personality not to be scared and add forward drive, but on the other hand, we have to protect ourselves well.'
'Barça have improved a lot in recent years,' believes the UD Almería head coach. In his opinion, one of the hallmarks of the Blaugranas is that 'in the starting XI, everyone always works in defence and put maximum pressure on you.'
