UD Almería Under-19s 'A' head coach Alberto Lasarte gave a press conference about the imminent Copa del Rey Youth tie against Elche CF this Saturday. The youthful Rojiblancos' gaffer is counting the hours for the appointment that will be played 12 years later: 'I hardly sleep thinking about this match; We're terribly excited about being among the 32 best U19 youth sides of Spain,' he said with a wide smile on his face.

The tie against Elche CF will be played this Saturday (KO 5pm CET) at the Francisco Pomedio ground located in the town of Huércal de Almeria and it is expected to register a large attendance: 'The pith will have a rocking atmosphere, I truly hope it's filled to its total capacity because that will surely help us enormously to win.'

Lasarte explained 'after the break we've had, it's difficult to compete again at this level, however the players play as they train, they always perform at their best and the week is going well in this regard.' As for the rivals, who have qualified as one of the best fifths of all Division de Honor groups, Alberto Lasarte has highlighted 'they're an attacking team with a lot of versatility because they can use different tactics. Furthermore, they've achieved more points away from home than on home soil and a very difficult and even match is expected.'

The head coach also pointed out: 'Whoever scores first will have more chances to win since we're two sides that know how to play with the result.' The goal set by UD Almería U19s 'A' for this competition is 'to go knockout stage by knockout stage and try to go as far as possible. I want my players to enjoy the Copa del Rey Juvenil, and I know that the most they do is competing.'

To end his speech, Lasarte encouraged all the fans to attend the match: 'they won't get bored, that's for sure. We're the highest scoring team in our group and we always put in brilliant performances.'
