UD Almería 'B' face Atlético Marbella Balompié this Sunday at 12 noon at the Anexo training ground. On paper, they are favourites, but they are taking nothing for granted against opponents who are making their debut in the division.

The Málaga-based side currently sit just above the relegation zone, level on points with Mancha Real, who already occupy a relegation place. However, Atlético Marbella have remained competitive in their matches and their most recent away defeats have been by narrow margins, against 'B' teams in particular, including those of Málaga CF and Granada CF.

UD Almería 'B', for their part, will be determined to maintain their upward momentum. They have won every home game so far and currently sit second in the table, 2 points behind Melilla. However, they have already secured victory in their fixture against Cantoria this round, meaning that Almería 'B's provisional gap has increased to five points.

Absences will be a handicap for the team coached by Pablo Nozal. In addition, several players have been unavailable to train with the reserve side during the week because they have been training with the first team.
