UD Almería Women are playing their first official fixture of 2023. After having enjoyed the Christmas holidays, the Indalicas will fly out to the Canary Islands to take on Femarguín, a team currently placed at the top of the table. The Almerienses face this match with the hope of starting the new year on the front foot with a victory that will allow them to continue growing within a difficult tier -Segunda Division RFEF-.

2022 was undeniably a brilliant year for the Rojiblancas since promotion was achieved. The members of the UD Almería Women squad are aware that they must have high concentration in Gran Canaria in order to be able to fly back home with a positive score and that this also enables them to stay out of the relegation places.
