Ramazani: 'We can beat Real Sociedad. We're playing well and we're strong at home'

The UD Almería real tekker assures that his priority is UD Almería and wants to contribute as much as possible to achieve the objectives set by the Club.

'We can beat Real Sociedad; we're playing well and we're strong at home,' stated UD Almería left-winger Largie Ramazani during a presser when talking about the Club's latest news and Sunday's fixture against the Donostiarra side. Regarding the first home match of 2023 for the Rojiblancos, the Belgian attacker said 'We're facing great rivals who are powerful, but if we play as we're doing, we'll have many chances to win. We were already at a really high level in Cádiz. We just have to work hard both offensively and defensively. I trust my team-mates.'

UD Almería wrapped up 2022 with four home victories on the spin and Ramazani highlighted 'we're now highly motivated to be able to clinch the fifth win.' He also added 'the support of the fans will be vital for us.' The 21-year-old player stressed 'the break was a good time for me because I worked to improve as a person and as a player. I want to contribute as much as I can to the team and help achieve the objectives. The Belgian was one of the outstanding players in Cádiz, as well as in the winter friendlies against Torino FC 1906 and SS Lazio.

The Berchem-Sainte-Agathe native was asked about the possible interest of Premier League teams in signing him. Ramazani replied: 'I'm very happy in Almería and playing for UD Almería. I'm fully focused on my Club and on the next match. Nothing more.' The Rojiblanco knows that a challenging fixture list lies ahead… Real Sociedad, At. Madrid, Valencia CF…. 'okay, but this is the Primera Division. Now we only care about Sunday's test.'

Ramazani expressed some kind words to praise his new team-mate, Luis Suárez, as he is convinced that the latest recruit will contribute greatly to the team. The Belgian was also also asked about his friend Sadiq 'we phone each other every day. He helped me a lot and gave me confidence. He's alright, working out in the gym at the minute. I'm glad that he's doing well.'
