4-1: Tough defeat for UD Almería 'B' against UD Torre del Mar

The Academy prospects headed down the tunnel trailing 2-0, but reacted in the second half, although without luck.

UD Almería 'B' suffered a tough defeat as they visited UD Torre del Mar, against whom they lost 4-1. It is actually a result that does not really reflect what really happened on the pitch. It has been four defeats and a draw in the last five games played by the UDA youth team who have abandoned the play-off spots for promotion unluckily. Third-placed El Palo are visiting UD Almería 'B' on the last Matchday of 2022 and the first stage of the championship.

UD Torre del Mar, who are one of the revelations of the season in the Group IX of the Tercera Division RFEF, shocked Oscar Fernández's team by grabbing an early opener 1-0, something that had an impact on the subsequent development of the match, especially since in the 20th minute, the boys from Malaga doubled their lead 2-0. It was a first half of hosts' superiority, although in the second the 'B' team players bounced back and pulled one back in the 80th minute courtesy of their scorer Marciano.

Time began to wind down. UD Almeria 'B' went all out in search of a tie, however from a possible two-all, the match went into 3-1 and in injury time 4-1 due to the home team's effective counter-attacks.
