The one-legged tie will be played in the town of Huércal de Almeria. Alberto Lasarte greatly values playing at home. Striker Rachad has been called up to Spain U18

UD Almería under-19s 'A' will play the next Spanish Cup U19 match against Deportivo Alavés U19s on Wednesday, 25 January at the Francisco Pomedio ground located in the town of Huércal de Almería, but the kick-off time has still not been confirmed. The draw for the last-16 has been held at the RFEF headquarters this Tuesday.

UD Almería U19s 'A' head coach Alberto Lasarte has looked ahead to the next round: 'It's going to be a tough tie, but we're also going to enjoy it with our fans at home. Deportivo Alavés U19 are a very physical and difficult team to beat. We're looking forward to the clash, although the league is our main focus.'

The rivals of the UDA Academy youth side will go into the game after ousting Real Zaragoza U19 away from home in the previous round (0-2). In their División de Honor league group, the team from Alava lost three games, drew with three teams and won nine games. They are fifth in the standings behind teams like Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad or SD Eibar U19. Also, last season, they participated in the Copa del Rey Juvenil but lost to CA Osasuna in the first round of the Spanish tournament.

The youthful Rojiblancos are playing a great role in the competition, especially Rachad, who has been called up to Spain U18. The national team will be playing against Italy on Wednesday, 18 January in Florence. The 17-year-old UD Almería U19 striker has added 14 goals to his name this season, two of them scored against Elche CF U19 in the last-32 Spanish Cup U19.
