Upping the intensity ahead of Sunday’s fixture with Atlético de Madrid

The UD Almeria players are determined to restore their fine home form. 63% of the points have been collected at the Power Horse Stadium.

UD Almería carried out a session focused on tactical drills this Thursday morning on the Anexo training ground. There are 72 hours left to welcome Atlético de Madrid and first-team head coach Rubi and his players have a solid game plan in place for the visit of another of the best football clubs in Spain. The Rojiblancos lost their previous game at home after four consecutive home victories and they are now eager to pick up the three points again.

The Indalicos have added close to 63% of the total points at stake. So far, UD Almería have had five wins and three losses at home. In other words, they earned fifteen points out of the twenty-four that were at stake this season. It is worth highlighting that only one defeat has been suffered by more than a goal advantage out of the three losses against Real Madrid CF, CA Osasuna and Real Sociedad. For this reason, the team’s morale and confidence remains the same as they have every chance of winning as long as they perform at their best.

Strong motivation makes concentration easy as the players have shown over these last training sessions of the week that will continue to take place behind closed doors both on Friday morning and Saturday evening. UD Almeria head coach Rubi has been able to put all his troops through their paces.
