3-0: Resounding victory for UD Almería 'B' over the bottom team
Goals from Bian, Marciano and Longonda seal the Academy Rojiblancos' win against Huracán Melilla
UD Almería 'B' achieve their fourth back-to-back victory after beating Huracán Melilla 3-0. A game in which the visitors parked the bus to try to block UD Almería B's attack, but this plan lasted until minute 33, when the Academy Rojiblancos scored the opener through Bian, who was on song. Two more goals were netted during the second half from Marciano and Longonda; and thus making it 3-0.
The first half consisted of trying to break down the defensive wall that Huracán Melilla had placed, not many chances were created though; it was UD Almería 'B' who engineered the most, but without having a great success. After half an hour, Bian took advantage of a great header from Marciano to get on the front foot (1-0). From there, the Melillenses were about to equalise in the next play with a good counter-attack that Aisa finished off, but outside the goal defended by Obón. The lads from Almeria could have gone into the break with more advantage via a thumping shot from the edge by Núñez that was saved by the visiting goal.
Over the course of the second half, with more spaces, UD Almería 'B' created a glut if chances with the best player of the opponents being the goalkeeper, who denied all the efforts from the Almerienses. In the 65th minute, Marciano extend their lead; he took advantage of a rebound by the goalkeeper to slot home the second that made the game even tougher for the Melilla-based team.
The UDA Rojiblancos continued to create danger and the third could have come through Avelino who received a long-range pass at the hands of Marciano. The one who found that spark was Longonda who sealed a resounding 3-0 victory with the third. An effective play by Lokosa who passed the ball to him and dribbled into the visitor's area to then hit and take the ball to the back of the net.
