UD Almería eager to maintain strong home form in last midweek game of 2022
The Rojiblancos are preparing for Wednesday's game against Getafe CF whom they can oust from the 13th place in the table
UD Almería will bring the league to a halt this Wednesday until New Year's Eve following the winter break for the Qatar World Cup. The Power Horse Stadium will switch on its lights one last time this year for the last home fixture of 2022 for the Rojiblancos. The last game of this year is going to be played in Cádiz on 31st December.
Next guests Getafe CF are only one point above the Indalicos in the standings. UD Almería are now training focused on this midweek meeting with the solely intention of maintaining their strong home form at the Power Horse Stadium, where they won four of the six matches played, the last three on the bounce and scoring 3 goals in each of them. In order to keep on the right track, it will be essential to defeat Getafe CF, a team with excellent players, and head into the winter break in a really significant position to stay up in the league.
Head coach Rubi has the entire squad available for selection except for Kaiky, who last Saturday was shown the fifth yellow card in Barcelona and therefore, he will have to serve a one-game suspension.
This Tuesday, last training session at the Power Horse Stadium prior to Wednesday's appointment with a kick-off set at 7pm (Spanish Time).
