1-0: CD Tenerife Women outplay UD Almería to earn three points

The sole goal didn't deflate the Rojiblancas, who kept pushing for a goal of their own to get level until the final whistle. They also got a goal chalked off for offside.

UD Almería Women suffered a tough narrow defeat. They lacked effectiveness and a goal was controversially disallowed. The Rojiblancas could not pack their suitcases with three more points on the island as they were outplayed because of a goal from opponent Quintana on the stroke of half-time.

In the second half, UD Almeria Women had control of the game, but they lacked effectiveness to have tied the game.
Even though they netted, the referee incorrectly disallowed the goal for offside. In addition, this caused the Rojiblancas head coach Álvaro Búrdalo to be sent off.

This is the second back-to-back narrow defeat for the Indalicas, who will wait to learn the result of their main pursuers, Unión Viera Women, to see if they finish the weekend in relegation or not.
