The Rojiblancas will play their next match on 24 October against SDF Real Betis Balompié away from home in Seville
UD Almería Women will not play this weekend as they take their first break of the season in their debut campaign in Group III of the women's tier Segunda RFEF, a division they are finding difficult to adapt to.
In fact, after 6 matches, the Rojiblancas sit second from bottom in the table with zero points, the same number as Fuensalida. Like UD Almería Women, Fuensalida were promoted this season to the third tier of Spanish women's football.
Nevertheless, the Indálicas have shown more promising performances than their results might suggest in certain matches. The team are hoping to turn things around as soon as possible so that they do not fall further behind in the league standings.
When the competition resumes next Saturday, 24 October, the Almería girls will have to travel to face SDF Real Betis Balompié, who currently sit 3rd in the table.
Although there will be no competitive match this weekend, they will continue training. The week without a match will provide an opportunity to work on weaknesses in their game, improve and reflect, with the aim of achieving their long-awaited first league victory.
