3–0: UD Almería Women unable to overcome pacesetters in La Palma

The Rojiblancas went into half-time trailing by just one goal (1–0) and having made a positive impression. The Canary Islands outfit sealed the victory in the closing stages

UD Almería Women suffered their 6th defeat of the season in as many league matches, losing 3–0 to Group III pacesetters CD Argual on Matchday Matchday 6. The meeting took place at the Aceró Stadium on the island of La Palma.

UD Almería Women, like Fuensalida, the other team promoted to Spain's third tier of women's football, remain in the relegation places with zero points. Two teams will be relegatedand there is still time to climb out of the drop zone, but the response can no longer be delayed. There will be no league fixtures next week.

Despite the defeat, the Rojiblancas put in a promising performance against the league leaders, as they have done in other matches in which they came close to earning points. The UDA girls held their own against CD Argual, although they went into half-time trailing by the narrow margin of 1–0. They had opportunities in the second half, but the more experienced Canaria-based side took control in the closing stages.
