0-0: Valuable point against CF Motril in a hard-fought game

The UDA prospects, who were down to 10 men in the 40th minute, managed to keep up the draw until the final whistle

UD Almería 'B' earned a point again after the finishing the last three game empty handed. They began the match with clear ideas and well positioned on the pitch, however, the most threatening situations in the box were created by CF Motril. In addition, Andrei's sending off following two yellow cards left a much more tactical and professional game for the youthful Rojiblancos. In the second half, the visiting team insistently searched for the winning goal, but UD Almería 'B' showed their strength to hold on to the result and the valuable point.

The match kicked off with the two sides putting in a commanding display, especially in the midfield, but the chances of scoring were for the visitors; CF Motril had three clear chances to beat Obón, although in each of them they found themselves with a great Rojiblanco goalkeeper, who took a leading role over the first 45 minutes with spectacular saves. The most striking was in the 38th minute with a miraculous hand that took out Jaime Rojo's shot. Before this move, the lads from Motril had another very clear goalscoring opportunity; Maldonado headed into the crossbar of the hosts' goal. After these occasions, Andrei's dismissal arrived, which made the match even more complicated for the Almeria team.

The second half was tough for Óscar Fernández's boys. Very tactical for both outfits and fewer chances. The first clear opportunity in this second period would be for CF Motril inside 81 minutes, a great opportunity for Grasa that Obón blocked. On 89 minutes, the UD Almería prospects could have taken the lead with a good chance from Núñez; the Rojiblanco attacker shot across the ball, but Miguel Nieto took possession of the ball. Finally, the effort of the Rojiblancos throughout the game was rewarded by keeping a clean sheet.
