UDA Academy wrap up first half of season after last weekend fixtures
The UD Almería youth sides will no longer compete until the new year 2023.
The last Matchday of the first stage of the season for the UD Almeria Academy sides has not gone as expected as they recorded 2 victories, a draw and 3 defeats ahead of the well-deserved Christmas break.
Alberto Lasarte's youth team U19s 'A' won again, this time Algeciras were the adversaries defeated 2-0 through goals from Leal and Rachad, and thus making it 12 consecutive triumphs. The lads are just unstoppable!
As for the under-19s 'B', they could not win their match against Granada, direct rivals in the race for the top positions. The UDA products were narrowly defeated against the Nasrid outfit and they abandoned promotion positions unluckily.
UD Almería U16s 'A' tied with Arenas of Armilla. Those in charge of scoring the goals were Lidueña and Houssam. The Under-14s 'A' lost to AD Nervión, while U16s 'B' group clinched a 3-1 victory over Cuevas CF courtesy of Álex Valle's wonderful brace and Porri's goal.
Last but not least, the UDA under-12s could not achieve an away victory against Arenas de Armilla.
