UD Almería collaborate with Argar Association and Cystic Fibrosis Association

Caring UDA first-team and women's team players will be delivering gifts at the Torrecárdenas Hospital next Monday, 19 December.

UD Almería and its Foundation, always thoughtful and caring, are participating in acts of solidarity this Christmas. Three UD Almería Women players, Carmen Belmonte, Rocio and Mar, have joined the traditional Argar Association Xmas party to deliver gifts to boys and girls suffering from cancer in Almería. It was very emotional.

Argar Association President Rosa Onieva played hostess in an event that was attended by Social Inclusion of Junta de Andalucía Government regional delegate De Francisco Vellido and Diputación de Almeria Economic Development and European Funds provincial deputy Francisco Álvarez. In addition, UD Almería also collaborate with Argar in the creation of the 2023 calendar, in which first team captain Fernando Martínez features. The goalkeeper has participated in the 2023 calendar by the Andalusian Cystic Fibrosis Association, together with his team-mates Ramazani, Embarba and Portillo. The Rojiblancos feature in the month of February with boys and girls from this association in Almería.

Verónica Sánchez, president of the association in Almería, has presented this initiative at the Power Horse Stadium with the footballers who have been photographed for the calendar, which will be up for grabs in the Club official store. The donation is 5€.

On the other hand, some UD Almería first-team and women's squad members will be visiting the Torrecárdenas Hospital next Monday, 19 December around 12:30-12:45pm in order to deliver gifts among the boys and girls hospitalised there.
