Manuel Martínez, Head of Security at UD Almería, has been honoured by the Spanish National Police with the Cross of Police Merit with White Distinction in recognition of his exceptional service, dedication and outstanding cooperation with the force.

The award ceremony took place at the Maestro Padilla Auditorium in Almería, as part of a series of events organised by the National Police to celebrate the feast day of their patron saints, the Guardian Angels.

Among those in attendance were the Government’s Subdelegate in Almería, José María Martín; the Andalusian Regional Government’s Delegate, Francisco Góngora; Almería’s Chief of the National Police, Antonio María Delgado; and the city’s Mayoress María del Mar Vázquez, who presented the award to Manuel Martínez.
