UD Almería back to training ready to face stiff challenge away from home
The next game will be played in seven days and the Rojiblancos are really eager to achieve the first away victory of the season at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia.
UD Almería began the training week on the Anexo pitch after sharing the spoils with Atlético de Madrid last Sunday. It was a game that was physically demanding in which the Indalicos worked their socks off to claim a massive point on the road.
The Rojiblancos returned this Monday morning to the training ground for a recovery session. Some of the players did continuous running-based and stretching exercises while the rest of the squad members have trained as per usual. Dyego Sousa has been the only absentee.
On the other hand, the Indalicos have been given Tuesday off and will have to get back to training this Wednesday in order to start preparing for the meeting at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia, the next outing for Rubi's team in which they want to once and for all earn their first away victory of the 2022/23 season.
There is a packed schedule arranged for next week with Monday's fixture against Valencia CF before RCD Espanyol visit the Power Horse Stadium on Friday.
