UD Almería 'B' follow suit as they play in Marbella on Sunday

Óscar Fernández's youth team are keen to become the first side to win at the Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas ground against 3rd-placed Marbella FC

The UD Almería first team are going to play a mid-season friendly against Hearts this Sunday and UD Almería 'B' will follow suit. The youth team will be heading to Marbella to be hosted by the local team this Sunday. The lads competing within Group IX of the Tercera Division RFEF have the clear objective of returning to winning ways.

The youthful Rojiblancos will go into the clash on the back of two back-to-back losses, the last home defeat to Real Jaén (0-1). As for Marbella FC, they are in the VIP zone sitting third. It will be a clash between teams placed at the top of the table since UD Almería 'B' continue to fight for the play-off spots as they are ranked 5th at the minute; there is a five-point gap between the two outfits, so a victory wrapped up by the UDA prospects would narrow the gap at the top.

Marbella FC will head into Matchday 12 on the back of an away goalless draw with Atlético Malagueño (0-0). On home turf, together with Real Jaén, they are the team with best home form, in fact no one has even been able to share the spoils at the Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas ground where the hosts have been invincible following 5 victories.
