César de la Hoz to sit out fixture in Seville due to yellow card accumulation

UD Almería have a recovery session this Sunday before having a break on Monday. They resume training on Tuesday to switch their attention to the match at the Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

UD Almería midfielder César de la Hoz will sit out the next fixture due to accumulation of yellow cards. The next match is going to be played next Sunday, 12th March (KO 4:15pm CET/ Matchday 25) at the Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium. The Rojiblancos’ skipper was one of the players booked against Villarreal CF along with team-mates Akieme, Ramazani and Eguaras

Goalkeeper Fernando and left-back Sergio Akieme will remain a doubt until the extent of their injuries is determined. Both players were benched at half-time. The Murcia native keeper experienced some quadriceps discomfort and the left-back has gastroenteritis. With regard to Gonzalo Melero, who has missed the last two LaLiga Santander games, Rubi commented last Friday at the pre-Villarreal presser that the midfielder would be highly likely to make it to the match against Sevilla FC, although his recovery progress will have to be checked over the next few days.

This Sunday, the Indalicos are getting involved in an active recovery training session. Monday will be a day off. The squad resumes training on Tuesday to switch their attention to Sunday's appointment in Seville. They will be put through their paces behind closed doors as from next Wednesday.
