Léo Baptistão has looked ahead to the next fixture against his former team, Atlético de Madrid, in the following terms: 'We have to start the game with intensity and go in at 200 percent. Atlético de Madrid have great players both in the Starting XI and on the bench. For us, it's a real motivation to face them.'

The UD Almería second striker has spoken about the tough rivals that are visiting to the Power Horse Stadium this Sunday, detailing 'I hope that this weekend, they don't have that bit of luck that they usually have other times.'

The 30-year-old Brazilian is well aware that this match is going to be decisive: 'We've played the last games as if they were finals. I believe that Sunday's fixture is a final because of the really high level of the opponents and because of the strong motivation we have.' Then, he added that this encounter is going to 'be a challenge for the squad, we have to start the game with more intensity than them to be able to defeat them. We suffered a bad experience last weekend. We're going to play a great game, of course.'

The Santos-born player also admits: 'It'll be a special match for me because Atleti have always treated me really well and I still have friends there.'

The attacker has exercised normally in recent training sessions: 'I tried to be ready for the last game but unfortunately I had a high temperature and it was impossible. I feel much better now and I'm available to play against Atlético de Madrid.'

On a personal level, the footballer has indicated 'I'm very happy in Almería and I've adapted very well to the style of play. Whenever I come out on the field I help my team-mates as much as possible. I can improve my performance and help my team more.'

Mohammed El Assy mentioned last Wednesday that the players, the coaching staff and the Club promise not to get relegated this campaign and on that note, Baptistão seconds UD Almería Managing Director's message: 'We're with him; we have to think positively and we have to be full of this boundless energy.
