UD Almeria U19 'A' clinch 7th victory on the bounce!

The UD Almería U19 'A' lads continue to boss things. This time they have beaten San Roque Balompié thanks to Valen's brilliant brace.

The U19 'A' youth team have clinched their 7th consecutive victory and this time the team that has been defeated is San Roque Balompié. Valen's second-half brace sealed all three points to Alberto Lasarte's boys, who are closer than ever to the Copa del Rey tournament. It has been a tough match to play since their opponents parked the bus in a bid to try to keep a clean sheet and they did so during the opening 45 minutes. Despite the two clear-cut chances from Gabri and Fede Oliva, the visitors managed to keep a clean sheet (0-0).

The second half saw the adversaries continuing to defend deep and Valen managed to break the deadlock on 72 minutes (1-0). A couple of minutes later, on 74 minutes the final 2-0 would come; Also Valen's fine effort. With this victory, Alberto Lasarte's boys continue to hold the lead in Group IV of the División de Honor Juvenil league and are two more points ahead of Cádiz, who tied their game against Sevilla, so the gap is 9 points.
