UD Almería set off for Seville with burning ambition to emerge winners

The Rojiblancos have completed one last training session. They will be travelling on a charter flight to Seville at 5pm. César de la Hoz and Melero ruled out.

UD Almería have completed one last training session behind closed doors at the Power Horse Stadium. They are travelling on a charter flight to Seville at 5pm this Saturday with the burning ambition to defeat their rivals. As head coach Rubi said in the pre-match press conference, his team may sometimes play better and sometimes worse, but they have shown that they can compete against anyone.

UD Almería proved their bouncebackability two Matchdays ago when leaders FC Barcelona were beaten 1-0 after experiencing a tough defeat (6-2) away to Girona FC. The team knew how to bounce back and now they want to do the same at the Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.

César de la Hoz, due to accumulation of yellow cards, as well as Gonzalo Melero, who is not fully recovered from his injury, have been ruled out of the fixture in Seville. This Saturday's practice focused on tactical concepts and strategy, recreating match situations.
