The UD Almería travelling squad return this Saturday from Cádiz, via Jerez, and when they arrive in Almeria city, they will have a recovery session after the first fixture back away from home played at Nuevo Mirandilla Stadium. The UD Almeria squad will be given Sunday [New Year's Day] off duty, and will be back to the office on Monday evening for a practice that has been scheduled for 6pm (CET) on the Anexo training field.

As of Tuesday, training will be conducted in the morning to prepare for the next league match between hosts UD Almería and visitors Real Sociedad next Sunday, 8 January (KO 2pm CET) at the Power Horse Stadium.

For this first meeting of 2023, head coach Rubi will be able to count on Rodrigo Ely, after serving a one-game suspension, and Luis Suárez, who will be able to perform by then, when the January transfer window opens at the beginning of January.
