UD Almeria observed a minute's silence to remember victims of Turkey-Syria devastating earthquakes
Before the game kicked off, different activities were undertaken at the Power Horse Stadium to raise awareness in order to raise funds.
UD Almería have collaborated with LaLiga in the ‘Cada Minuto Cuenta’ [Every Minute Counts] campaign, which aims to raise funds to support the Spain Emergency Committee following the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria.
LaLiga and the RFEF agreed that a minute of silence will be observed in the Matchday 21 fixtures to remember the victims of the terrible disaster. In addition, the starting XI of both teams, together with the referees, posed showing a message in support of the cause. The stadium announcer and the scoreboards reminded the fans of this raise-funding campaign.
