UD Almería go on holidays after failing Cup test but doing well in LaLiga
The squad are back to training on 24 November at the Anexo training ground. Then, the players will get together and will play several friendlies
UD Almería are now on holidays until Thursday, 24 November as LaLiga Santander shuts down over the World Cup in Qatar. There will not be Primera Division league action until the last weekend of December. Morever, the team has exited the Copa del Rey in the first round.
UD Almería have returned this Monday from Galicia after losing to CD Arenteiro in a Spanish Cup tie and will rest until 23 November because the day after, on Thursday, 24 November, they will be back to training on the Anexo training field next to the Power Horse Stadium.
The Rojiblancos start their holidays with a bittersweet taste because the Cup defeat assuming the head coach and players offer the 'mea culpa' to their supporters, but a few days before they achieved their fourth back-to-back fixture win at home and reached the World Cup in Qatar break with a five point advantage over the relegation zone, something really significant.
There is a trip planned to Marbella in order to have a one-week training camp between 28 November and 5 December. During this period of time two friendly matches are to be played. Then, on 9 December, there is another flight ready to take UD Almería to Saudi Arabia, and when they return, the Rojiblancos will continue training in Almeria city.
There will still be one or two more games before the LaLiga Santander gets back with a Christmas fixture against Cádiz CF, the last weekend of December.
