UD Almeria flesh out details ahead of clash in Seville

Rubi delivered the first session behind closed doors before Sunday's trip. A look of total concentration on the Rojiblancos' faces.

Head coach Rubi and the UD Almería first-team players have completed another training session this Wednesday, the first behind closed doors, to continue with the preparations for Sunday's match in Seville. All football practices from now on will be conducted behind closed doors and they will require total concentration given the importance of the clash at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium.

There will be different encounters between direct rivals on Matchday 25, not only Sevilla FC vs UD Almería, and therefore the situation can get either favourable or delicate. If we compare the numbers obtained over the first half of the campaign with respect to the second, the current deficit is only one point, taking into account that the Rojiblancos finished that first stage of the season with 22 points to their name.

On Sunday, the particular goal difference against Sevilla FC could also be decisive at the end of the season. Some players, who felt some discomfort during the last game against Villarreal CF, continue their recovery processes and in the next few days, Rubi will decide which players he can count on; César de la Hoz Will surely miss out. Baptistão, who welcomed a newborn daughter yesterday, and Sousa, who had permission from the Club to be absent, have joined their team-mates as per usual.

This Thursday, the session will be held from 10:30am at the Anexo training ground while on Friday, it will be delivered at the Power Horse Stadium.
