UD Almería convey real enthusiasm among boys & girls in Torrecárdenas Hospital
Melero, De la Hoz, Fernando, Sousa, Anita París and Sara spread pure joy as they bear all kinds of gifts such as toys and team shirts for the kids.
UD Almería players visited the boys and girls hospitalised in the pediatrics, oncology and mental health areas located in the Maternity and Children’s Torrecardenas Hospital, who have been given all kinds of gifts. It was an emotional and kind act that every year on the eve of the Christmas holidays, is performed by the Club.
This will undeniably be a day that will be impossible to forget for all those who have received gifts from the UD Almeria first team and women's footballers. Their faces were glowing with happiness as the players walked through the corridors; many waited impatiently at the doors waiting for the Rojiblancos to arrive. Backpacks, speakers, fluffy toys, UD Almeria scarves and shirts... are just some of the pressies that the young patients have received. In addition, this year has been more special than others, since the Club had not been able to attend for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This Monday, 19th December 2022, has been a day of hearty cheerfulness, intense excitement and true joy at the Maternity and Children’s Torrecárdenas Hospital. It brought tears to their eyes to see the children having such fun after having their idols next to them. It will certainly be a morning that will not be forgotten, not only for the patients and their families, but also for all the health workforce that the Rojiblancos have surprised this Christmas.
