UD Almería back in training to stay sharp throughout international break

The Rojiblancos are now back on the Anexo training ground after a ten-day holiday with the absence of El Bilal Touré, who arrives on Saturday. Babić has joined up with the Serbia squad in the World Cup in Qatar.

UD Almería are now back to business after a ten-day holiday as the LaLiga Santander has shut down due to the Qatar World Cup 2022. The training session has been held at the Anexo training ground next to the Power Horse Stadium given that the Club is overseeding the main turf with winter grass.

Head coach Rubi has counted on all his squad players, including UD Almeria ‘B’ regulars who are training with the first team, with the exception of El Bilal Touré who arrives on Saturday after having a few more days off; the Malian centre-forward has been on international duty with his home country team, while Babić has joined up with the Serbia squad in the World Cup in Qatar.

The Rojiblancos are training until Saturday on the Anexo training ground; on Sunday, they will be taking their ease before travelling to Marbella next Monday to start an eight-day training camp. UD Almeria will play two friendlies there. Upon their return, on Monday, 5 December, they will get ready for a new trip, this time to Saudi Arabia where they will play another friendly in order to gear up ahead of the next LaLiga Santander meeting against Cadiz CF on 30 December.
