Last football practice, Christmas day celebrations before building towards Cádiz CF

The squad members have trained on the Anexo ground and return to training on Monday evening to prepare for the first game back away to Cadiz CF

UD Almería have participated in one last football practice to wrap up the sixth week of preparations amid the World Cup break. As of Monday, they will focus squarely on the LaLiga Santander resumption since direct rivals Cadiz CF will be hosting them on Friday, 30 December (Matchday 15).

After the friendly match played against SS Lazio, the fifth of this mid-season hiatus, the squad trained on Friday morning at the training base. It has been an active recovery session for those players who got the most minutes in their legs against the Italians, and a bit harder for the others.

The Rojiblancos have the weekend off so they can celebrate Nochebuena [Christmas Eve] and Christmas Day with their families and friends. Training resumes on Monday with a session to be conducted on the Anexo training base from 7pm. The squad will have four more training sessions to accomplish before flying charter to Cádiz, via Jerez de la Frontera next Friday morning.
