Lucas Robertone extends stay with UD Almería until June 2028

The Argentinian midfielder will be a Rojiblanco for three more seasons. He signed a five-year deal in 2020.

UD Almeria midfielder and co-captain Lucas Robertone has reached an agreement with the Club to extend his deal until June 2028. In other words, he extends his contract for three more seasons since when the Argentinian arrived back in 2020 he signed for five years. His contract with UD Almería ended in 2025, but now both parties have ensured continuity in the squad with an Italian passport.

The 25-year-old player is a key player within Rubi's line-ups. He also played an important role in the previous two LaLiga Smartbank campaigns, but currently, in the top tier of Spanish football, his performance is brilliant every time he has been lined up in the first fourteen league fixtures that have been played so far.

In his debut as a Rojiblanco in the past 2020/21 season, Robertone played a total of 24 league games, 5 Spanish Cup ties and 1 play-off for promotion. In 2021/22, the midfielder played 26 Segunda Division fixtures and another Spanish Cup tournament tie.

Lucas Robertone is a tireless central midfielder who can operate as an attacking midfielder and right winger. Also, the Concordia native has an eye for goal and always tries to assist his team-mates as he has scored 9 goals and has produced 8 assists up to now.
