Just over 14,000 attendees create a rocking atmosphere at the Power Horse Stadium

The second highest attendance of the 2022/23 season at the Power Horse Stadium has been recorded this Sunday, 15 January in the fixture against Atletico de Madrid (Matchday 17)

Just over 14,000 attendees (14,128) turned up at the Power Horse Stadium to cheer on UD Almería as they took on Atlético de Madrid this Sunday. It is the second highest attendance recorded this season at the sports venue. The record attendance, slightly higher, took place in the season opener against Real Madrid CF (Matchday 1).

This has been the second meeting after expanding the capacity to 16,503. In the previous one, against Real Sociedad, there were 12,000 fans, so the attendance at the Power Horse Stadium has been exceeded by just over 2,000.

The loyal UD Almeria supporters created a rocking atmosphere and were rooting for Rubi's side, who played a brilliant game against one of the best clubs of Spanish football, from the beginning to the end.
