Defending effectively to attack better and win at Mestalla Stadium

While Valencia CF are expected to force the Rojiblancos to give their best through defensive solidity and spirited attacking, UD Almeria will be forcing themselves to get in the zone on Monday.

UD Almería are aware of the difficulties that they will encounter in the match at the Mestalla Stadium next Monday, but also of their chances to win, based on the training that is being carried out and the players’ positive attitude. Not only defensive solidity will be necessary, but also the spirited attacking display that the Indalicos are used to putting on. Valencia CF have racked up a high number of points at the Mestalla after scoring in almost all their home games. The Valencianistas have only lost three times on home turf this campaign to FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid and Cádiz CF. That said, defending effectively on Monday will definitely be as important as attacking.

UD Almeria head coach Rubi has been insisting throughout the week on showing that they are a well-drilled team that will have to keep the intensity up and go on the attack when they find the right time for it. The Rojiblancos will continue training behind closed doors for the next three days, with Sunday’s football practice to be held in the evening.
