Arnau Puigmal: 'They're strong defensively, but we've got our weapons at home'

Before hosting the Culés, the 22-year-old UD Almería central midfielder highlighted that Barça are a 'tough team to beat.'

UD Almería central midfielder Arnau Puigmal has sat down with the Club's official media at the Power Horse Stadium and has shared his feelings about the squad and their preparation for the big match against FC Barcelona: 'The week has been positive, despite the negative result obtained in Gerona.' The attacker stressed that 'the team is fine physically, but we can't deny that the last game was a hard blow. There isn't time for regrets in this league. We're totally focused on the Barça match.'

The 22-year-old Rojiblanco has given his take on the magnificent season that the Catalan side is having: 'they're strong defensively, but we've got our weapons at home. We're a very difficult team to beat too and it's clear that we've obtained positive results here.' The Catalan footballer highlighted that UD Almería have various qualities: 'Set-pieces are one of the team's strengths, however there are also others that still need to be worked on.'

On an individual level, the former Manchester Utd U23 player has mentioned that he is satisfied with his progress: 'I've always been an all-round player. I feel more comfortable on the inside, but I'll play wherever [he can also operate as a right-back and right midfielder] I'm needed to help the team.'

Regarding the UD Almería fans, Arnau Puigmal Martínez sent them a positive message ahead of Sunday's battle: 'We need our fans, who have always been there unconditionally, but especially this Sunday, because it's a vital game against tough opponents Barça.'
