Almeria B kick off 2020 with the intention of fighting for promotion
The rojiblancos host UD Macarena in the Anexo field of the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium
The UD Almería B team kick off 2020 within the IX group of the Third Division with the visit of UD Maracena to the Anexo field of the Juegos Mediterraneos. The meeting will be played at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The rojiblancos face this second round after having managed to enter play-offs for promotion to Second Division B. In fact, Almeria B still do not fear defeat as the team did not lose one single match since Fernando Santos,'Nandinho', took over the team. The Youth Academy currently sit 3rd place on 37 points.
As for the UD Maracena, in spite of being at the foot of the table, the team are not in danger of slipping into the relegation zone. Actually, they are 4 points above the drop zone when they are to play one more match against Motril CF because the fixture was postponed. Of course, the Almeria B contenders do not trust the results on the table, since the competition has got teams who are equally good so that everyone has the chance of winning. Their next opponents defeated Almeria in the previous match.
UD Almeria’s members can come and watch the game for free including children up to 14 years old. Tickets cost 5€ and can be purchased at the Stadium ticket office
