‘We are going to kill for the three points in Huesca’

Lazo points out that the side’s mentality is ‘really strong’ and advocates for peace of mind and confidence at the moment

José Carlos Lazo held a press conference and appraised their own attitude of calmness after the last three match weeks without being able to pull off a win. That is why he declared: ‘We have to go to Huesca to win, and we are going to kill for the three points, but everyone has to keep calm. We have to believe in ourselves because we have been one of the top teams all season long. Every team sometimes goes through a sticky patch.’

The rojiblanco winger says that ‘there are fifteen finals left’, in which the players must not consider anything other than ‘going step by step so as to remain at the top of the table’. In this sense, the player added: ‘We have a really strong mentality and we have to continue fixing mistakes to go to Huesca to win the three points.’

Lazo’s remarks about their next opponents were well expressed and to the point. The Oscense team ‘are going to demand a lot’ from the Indálicos. In his opinion, it will be a ‘home-away game’, in which both sides expect to ‘have the ball’, hence, fulfil the proposal that José María Gutiérrez is working with the players. ‘We have to stay focused from the very first minute. The two teams are coming from losing streaks and I think we have to be aware that it will be a very hard and complicated game for both of us’, he said.
