UDA Foundation promote sport in El Puche neighbourhood
The young people of this neighbourhood participate in the City of Almeria Sports Games League with the support of UD Almeria Foundation, Alhóndiga La Unión and Ithaca Association
UDA Foundation promote social inclusion through sport in El Puche neighbourhood. The youth of this area will be able to take part in the Juegos Deportivos Municipales League (City of Almeria Sports Games), promoted by Patronato de Deportes (Sports Council) of the City Council. Two futsal teams have been set up, one for children and another one for teenagers.
The Foundation collaborate with Ithaca Association to build an integrated neighbourhood approach. The two entities intend to promote inclusion in both education and sports among children and teenagers so as to improve their academic performance and give an interesting insight into the group's dynamics. In this way, all those boys who belong to these teams will have to fulfil a commitment, which they will acquire with the educators of Ithaca Association and the Secondary school in El Puche.
