UD Almería reject violence and promote fair play
The Club investigates what happened in the early stages of the game against Real Betis Balompié last Saturday.
UD Almería will not allow, under any circumstances, the limits of legality and fair play to be crossed in any area related to the Club both on and off the pitch; in other words, within their facilities and outside them. As a result, UD Almería are investigating what happened last Saturday in the early stages of the match against Real Betis Balompié played at the Power Horse Stadium.
During the arrival of both Andalusian teams to the Stadium, there was a confrontation took place between UD Almería fans and the Law enforcement agencies along with the Security officers. UD Almería have listened to the versions of every party involved in the incident, have watched footages captured in situ, and although these were recorded outside the sports venue, where the Club does not have total responsibility regarding security, they would like to prevent similar situations from occurring again. As a consequence, UD Almería will adopt the appropriate measures next time. At the same time, UD Almería reject violence and promote fair play.
