UD Almeria players step it up a notch!

The Rojiblancos perform an intense and demanding 2-hour training session. This Friday and Saturday, football practices behind closed doors

UD Almería step up preparations in a Blank Matchweek as the Spanish Cup last-16 ties are going be played on Saturday and Sunday. This weekend’s break is great for the Rojiblancos in order to get back in shape after some players suffered from Covid-19 and some other injured will have time to ensure a full recovery ahead of the next league fixture with CD Lugo in the Spanish region of Galicia rescheduled for Wednesday, 19th January and then, SD Eibar’s visit to the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium on Monday, 24th January.

The Rojiblancos first-team squad grafted away this Thursday morning through an intense and very demanding 2-hour training session. First pre-activation workouts aimed to prevent injuries and later, a session of tough ball-work continued at the Anexo training ground.

Arnau Puigmal and Juan Villar, who seem to be doing well in their recovery,  have exercised on the grass on the sidelines. This Friday and Saturday, UD Almería will be training behind closed doors at the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium not only to improve their fitness, but also to gain tactical familiarity and work on specific areas of performance in preparation for the next matches.
