UD Almería play intra-squad friendly with Babić back in group training

The players have been put through their paces at the training base. More training on Thursday before battling it out against Torino FC at the Pinatar Arena Football Center to ensure match fitness.

UD Almería central defender Babić has rejoined group training after his participation with Serbia in the World Cup in Qatar. The Rojiblanco accomplished his first session on the sidelines last Tuesday as he was getting back into the thick of things while he was getting over virus infection. The Serbian footballer has trained normally with the rest of his team-mates in a tactical session. An intra-squad friendly was played to recreate fluid match situations with the players working later on their finishing skills both from within the box and wide positions.

Another of the squad centre-backs, Kaiky is still working out on the sidelines, but doing some ball work. If there are no setbacks in his muscular discomfort recovery, the Brazilian could join the group next week.

The Rojiblancos, who have trained on the Anexo training ground, will partake in another practice on the same pitch but this time behind-closed-doors.

On Friday morning, the UD Almería travelling squad will head to the Pinatar Arena Football Center located in Murcia. The Club has lined up high-quality opponents, Italian Serie A side Torino FC, to play against ensuring match fitness and sharpness is retained.
