UD Almería pacesetters with automatic promotion on the horizon

The Rojiblancos do not want to feel overconfident. Back to training this Tuesday

UD Almería have once again taken a vital step in their aspirations to reach the Primera Division and after Matchday 39, the Rojiblancos ended up as leaders and with automatic promotion on the horizon, although they still have to continue working until it is finally achieved.

The UD Almería team depend on themselves and with three games to go before the conclusion of the championship, in their regular season, they beat SD Éibar by two points and Real Valladolid CF by four, who this Sunday won, precisely, in Ipurúa by 0-2. For UD Almería it was the least good result that could be given, since everything is tighter, although in favour of the Indalicos, who do not want any type of confidence.

After two days of rest, on Tuesday the squad will return to work to start preparing for the visit to Real Sociedad ‘B’, who are playing to stay up. The league appointment, on Friday, at 9pm in San Sebastián. The next day, on Saturday, at 6:15p,m CEST, Valladolid hosts SD Ponferradina and at 9pm SD Eibar visit CD Leganés. A victory for the Rojiblancos and a defeat for the players from Valladolid would mean promotion; and virtually if Pucela's tied.

If these situations do not occur, on the penultimate Matchday there would be a new opportunity, already with a simultaneous kick-off; Saturday. UD Almería will host bottom team AD Alcorcón, SD Éibar will host CD Tenerife, and Valladolid will visit UD Ibiza.

Far from making any guesses, the Rojiblancos focus on Real Sociedad ‘B’ with practices on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. With the start of the week it will be time to see the progress of Ramazani and Rodrigo Ely, who retired in the game against SD Amorebieta, and of Curro, who after training on Friday, felt unwell on Saturday morning.
