UD Almería have implemented the Juegos Mediterraneos Stadium self-protection plan whereby the club's Security department has set out the guidelines to be followed within the sports venue in the event of an emergency, and thus complying with the new regulations regarding Risk Analysis.

Before hosting AD Alcorcón last Monday, a meeting took place at the Stadium facilities in which this plan was analysed and detailed with the assistance of Mariano Blanco (Secretary General of the Board of Directors), Manuel Martínez (Director of Event Safety and Security) and Lorena Garcia (Head of Legal), from UD Almería; Pedro Tomas Boticario (Responsible for Safety of LaLiga), Manuel F. Garrido (Inspector and Security Coordinator of the Spanish National Police), as well as those responsible for the security company Grupo Control, the Local Police of Almería, the maintenance department of the Almeria Sports Council, the Almeria-based company for health emergencies U24, and the Spanish Red Cross.

In addition, the way to act in any case of emergency that may occur was put into practice on the ground throughout the day, supervised by LaLiga.

Director of Event Safety and Security at UD Almería Manuel Martínez stated ‘with this legal step, UD Almeria continue to be a pioneer in adapting the club to the security and safety measures that are required by law, going beyond what is required since the security of the fans in our stadium is a priority for the club.’
