UD Almería 'B' step up preparations for upcoming season in Tercera RFEF

UD Almería 'B' are playing their fourth friendly against Córdoba CF on Saturday after having already played P. Ejido, Águilas and Vélez

UD Almería 'B' step up pre-season preparations for the upcoming campaign where the objective will be to achieve promotion, which they were about to earn a few months ago. The youthful Rojiblancos are fully focused and with their minds set on preparing for these weeks before the first official match away from home against Estepona.

The youngsters began the pre-season friendlies by thrashing Polideportivo Ejido 1-4 so it was a good start to the off-season campaign for the Almería 'B' players. The next warm-up match was played against Águilas, when the lads from Almeria were edged out and later they faced Vélez in a match that ended with a share of the spoils. The next outing has been scheduled on 20 August against Córdoba; next, they play against CD Cieza on 23 August. The travelling squad will head out to the Granada coast to play the Almuñécar Cup 2022 and will wrap up their pre-season on 31 August taking on Atletico Pulpileño.

From there, the 2022/23 season will kick off with the new objective set that will be to achieve promotion to the Segunda RFEF. Their first home fixture will be on the second day against Atlético Porcuna.

On another note, the squad is still being built with a significant number of remaining players from last season and some UD Almería U19 'A' players that have moved up a rank with a bright future ahead of them. Also, some signings are about to be completed.
