U-16 Almeria Women pick up the league champions trophy

UD Almeria Women first team had a break this weekend, while Almeria Women B team compete in the Copa Federacion

The U-16 UD Almeria Women received the league champions trophy in their category, an award that was given by the Almeria subdelegation of the Andalusian Federation in the minutes before the last match of the championship in which the girls took on ‘Las Norias’ at the football ground in Benahadux. The Almeria players, who have finished undefeated in the category, celebrated this achievement euphorically, raising the cup all together along with their coach Pedro López and their relatives. 

On the other hand, the Almeria Women first team had a break this weekend. However, Carlos Hinojo’s squad continue training in order to face in the best possible way the home game against ‘ADFB La Rambla’ next weekend. The Rojiblanco team are currently in the sixth position of the table of Group IV of the Primera Nacional Femenina (First Women's National). 

As for Almería Women B Academy, the girls ended up third in the table after finishing the ‘Segunda Andaluza Senior de Almeria’ (Second Andalusian Senior of Almeria). The Academy players will compete in the Copa Federacion (Federation Cup), which is played in two groups of four teams each.
