Turki Alalshikh awarded at the ‘2020 Medicine and Sports Meeting’ in Almeria

Turki Alalshikh, president and owner of UD Almería, has been awarded in the 5th edition of the Medicine and Sports Meeting that in recent days has been organised by the Neurology department of the Torrecárdenas University Hospital at Maestro Padilla concert hall in Almeria. V Reunion de Medicina y Deporte is a meeting that supports and promotes Sports and Medicine through great professionals.
The event consisted of various interesting presentations. On the closing day, the organisers wanted to publicly acknowledge the help that Turki Alalshikh wholeheartedly gave to the province of Almería with the donation of 1,500,000 euros to contribute to the fight against coronavirus.
Lorena García, president of the UD Almería Foundation, who managed the grants made thanks to Turki Alalshikh’s significant contribution, received the award from Antonio Huete, deputy director of the Torrecárdenas University Hospital.
